First of all, man is inherentley wicked and sinful since the fall of man (Adam n Eve). God cursed us. And because of this curse the wages of sin is death. God could smite you in your place for whatever reason he chose fit. But He is a loving God and knows you are wicked and foolish. Accept Jesus Christ into your life and become a true son or daughter of God the Father, and He might let you live another day and mabe reign forever in His Kingdom with Him if you endure to the end. P.S (and by the way, I suggest you prepare yourself now because the Kingdom (Of) God is coming soon)! Hallelujeh, Praise God, Thank you Jesus!!!

All that I can think of to answer that is...man will never figure out how to live forever...but God gave us the prescription in His Word, the Bible...
John 17: 3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
So studying the Bible is the first step to gaining everlasting life...and the only one to give us that life is God, through his son Jesus Christ.

Yes man would have live for ever if he did not eat from the forbidden tree,,, But when the Lord created Adam and Eve His purpose towards them it were for them to live for ever, read it again in the Book of Genesis, our characteristic are part Physical and part Spiritual this tells it all.

Well first it's physically impossible, second you will still have accidents and war, third God will call people up (or down) when it's time regardless of medicine.
