Of course you can. Being a licensed drivers is not a prerequisite or the military.

yup... the only thing recruiters require is some form of identification. a lot of 17 yr olds use their student ids from, along with parental consent of course, to enlist. But a driver's license is not required.

It's assumed you know how to drive so unless you don't plan on doing anything more than being a foot soldier, you should hurry up and start driving - obviously it's a needed skill when fighting a war. The military hasn't used horses for 80 years now.

Yep. As a boot you have no driving privileges. Even in AIT. You wont need a Drivers license until you get to your Unit. Then if you don't have one they will probably force you to get one so that you can drive the wonderful army family of vehicles.

you won't need either. you won't be getting out for any driving, and they issue you a military id, so the state id is superfluous.
