It may comes as a surprise to some (but not all) that Mother Nature has another name, her name is Gaia, and she is the creator of what some others refer to as "god". She created him because she was alone in the vastness of the Universe.
Sadly, ever since the inception of this "god", it has been used to establish an invented dominance of male over female. The christo-Nazis (and their various groups of related thugs) have been quite adept at doing this.
Fortunately, the people of this world are beginning to wake up to their "Bean Salad".

I hear ya, Girlfriend! I hear ya! So let's have a look at what the ancient Greeks believed.
Gaia, Gaea, or Mother Earth, (what you refer to here as "Mother Nature") was the Great Goddess of the early Greeks. She represented the Earth and was worshiped as the Universal Mother. In Greek mythology, she created the universe and gave birth to both the first race of gods (the Titans) and the first humans. In the creation story of the ancient Greeks, Chaos came before everything else. Chaos was made of Void, Mass, and Darkness in confusion. Then Earth, in the form of Gaia, came into existence. From Mother Earth sprang the starry heavens, in the form of the sky god Uranus. From Gaia also came the mountains, plains, seas and rivers that make up the Earth as we know it today. Gaia was the oldest of the gods of the early Greeks. Humans and gods alike knew her as the Supreme Goddess. She presided over marriages and oaths and prophecy.
Gaia married Uranus - her EQUAL!
Ahhhhhhhhh, isn't that nice?! A religious belief and creation myth that sets the Feminine Divine in equal status to the Masculine Divine?
Any wonder I left monotheism in the dust and opened my heart and mind to the very idea, the notion, of previous civilizations concepts of the Divine?

I don't know why we have placed such an artificial label on Nature. While we do not completely understand nature we continue to unfold its secrets and as a result become a better society.
I also find it hard to believe that people make nature out to be some sort of separate entity.. When in fact we are all a part of nature. Everything is part of nature.

Mother Nature has no intelligence, she cannot create herself or anything else. Primitive men thought that she is powerful, so the call her mother. In reality, she is powerless and absolutely dependent on natural laws. She and other creatures are created and sustained by the Supreme Intelligence, the One True God.
