Cause I have all the time and money to put into such experiment. Noah's ark was just an allegory, nothing else.

Uhm. I think the ark is siwwy. And i think Noah was a siwwy man. i tink dat wittle aminals awe cuddwy and don't wike watah. And where did all that freaking water go after the flood. Shouldnt there be definitive proof in volcanos about a flood? And wheres waldo. ANd who knew harry who? Was it smart to fling all the animal poop into the ocean, thus being the first real polluters? 40 days seems like a short time for water to recede. Or was it forty years. I walways forget. Where did all that water come from? What conditions were their that could cause unstopable flooding across the globe for such a long time? And wouldnt that destroy all non aquatic vegetation on land? Or did they bring two of every plant. So the plants could GIT IT ON!!!! I like thinking of plants getting it on. kinda sexy. And how did noah have 120 years to build it? Isnt that kinda long? and so on and so forth. Did Noah also have to collect 2 of every BUG to put on the ark? Cuz that woulda sucked when the fleas started multiplying. And why couldnt he kick cockroaches off? They suck. Same with rats.

Great question,, I see we already have a batch of stupid answers,,Yes modern oil tankers can hold thousands of animals,, but sorry kids we don't have anything that can hold millions, plus all the food and water they would need to survive 40 days and nights.
Nice try.
P.S. Great point on building a single living cell,, I must concede we cannot yet do that.

I've thought of building an Ark as an experiment. Basically, I'd live alone on it though. Maybe I'd rob a few ships and copy software--then I could be an all-around pirate! Arrrrr!

They've built smaller versions of the ark, using the biblical measurements, to test its stability in rough waters. It passed.
But Liners today are comparable to the size of Noah's ark and they can definately fit thousands of animals on them.

I think that would be a waste of my time, but I would be down to try it if I were a biblical archaeologist or something along those lines.

...not really.
But I'm sure Noah had time considering he built the ark in 120 years.
