Hmmm it mostly depends on the season and your personality. Here's some ideas.

Fall- Fall is a nice time to have a wedding. Try really organic colors like cream, gold, wine, brown, and ruby red. It makes for a sophisticated look. Don't worry about the different shades of white clashing with your dress. You'll be surprised if you try it.

Winter- How about a deep ruby red and cream color? I read the part about no red, but try it! It's a beautiful, elegant combo!

Spring- Spring, the classic time for a wedding! Try light, casual colors like white and lavender (A beautiful shade of light purple). Again, I am sorry if you hate purple! Just like almost all white with sprigs of little lilacs and accents of lavender. You could do the same with Celadon. But don't try the black and Celadon, instead, try cream with celadon accents. Nothing too major or Frou- Frou.

Summer- Again, go for bright, tropical, yet laid back colors! Try all white or cream with sprigs and centerpieces of either celadon or baby pink(lightpink), for a bright wedding!

I am doing my wedding all in white except for the bridesmaids dresses, which are celadon. For a summer wedding, celadon is a great choice. I think it will look really elegant with the rest being white.

I have talked to many photographers and they all say to keep the bouquets white because any other colors will detract from the bride's dress. Otherwise, have fun with whatever colors you pick and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

My sister did Blue and White. it was beautiful. I had a friend do hers in Black and Gold. and that was very nice as well, Her dress was Gold with lace of a Wine burgundy. and then black at the bottom. very nice. I think that Black and Celadon would be gorgeous! Hope I helped. Good Luck.

I did a celadon-ish color at my wedding, along with a hint of bright pinks....it looked beautiful, and everyone complimented on it.

I like the celadon idea. What about celadon and yellow? or light peach? Just don't go overboard on the accent color.

Congrats!

I like gold and wine, and black and celadon isn't bad either. But i really think that gold and wine are the better choices. (I don't blame you on not wanting reds, pinks, or purples way to common in my veiw)

You dress has to be white. Bridesmaid dresses should be a really light but a shiny green. The men should wear a simple black suit. Dark Black. With the same color napkin thing in their jacket pocket.

I have a question too. Why do people keep saying lilac, lilac is a shade of purple.
I would go with blue because there are about 5 zillion shades of blue to choose from. Bring your bridesmaids to pick out dresses and see which color of blue or whatever) they like the best and which one looks best on them. Their dresses are going to be one of the largest and most noticed/photographed displays of your chosen wedding colors.
Ivory and silver go good with any shade of blue. I would stay away from any large displays of green. Especially anything involving dresses or fabrics. Any shade of green on the materials used for formals looks pukey to me. If you use green, use it as an accent color.
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!

First of all what month?? darker colors don't look good in spring or summer! for fall or winter it's better to have the darker colors, seems like your more into the darks so I think citrus and expresso are very pretty, also to help me out I checked out david's bridal website they have great color combos there!

Gold and wine is nice. Especially if it's a fall wedding...If it's spring, you could go with baby blue and white, maybe.

How about Black and Silver, or Royal Blue and white/gold/silver
One last try... Royal purple and honeysuckle.
