I want to go back to my natural colour without it looking terrible, my hair has been dyed that many times it won't even go bleach blonde properly so I want it all dark brown to get back to my natural colour.

It will turn like a reddish color and an ugly brown black .Also leave it to the professionals because if you dont strip the hair color before you redye it you will not like the end result. If you still want to do it yourself revlon has a hair stripping product that removes dye and than you can redye your hair .That way you won't have a nasty end result.

Also have a professional mess up you dont want to have a problem with your hair do you ?

Blonde is a porous blank colour,so the dark brown should be ok and give it a gloss shine to it. If the ends are a very stressed they may turn green. I would seriously recommend that you pay a bit extra and have it professionally treated. Be brown whilst your hair repairs itself, get it trimmed every six weeks, be just right for the summer to go back to a nice natural looking blonde again, cos I bet u will hate the brown. Good luck.

To the answerer that said brown, she has obviously never tried it. I randomly decided to dye my black hair blonde, and had to have it bleached to do so. I ended up hating the color, and tried to dye over it with a very dark brown shade. The result? An odd mix of the bleached shade and the brown I can best describe as a darker greyish brown. Not cute. Seek professional help.

It should turn out OK, i have bleach blonde hair in the summer and dye it back to my natural brown in the summer, however be careful of how dark u want it cause I normally use brown and it covers brilliantly but the other day i put a Dark Brown on my hair it know looks black unless you look really close up! I like it though!

if u put a dark brown dye ontop on bleached hair it'll go dark brown, the blonde will act as a base colour, just do a strand test before u go ahead and do ur hair just incase u dont like the end result. but it should come out brown as u want it.

your better putting a dye on with a red pigment first then go over it with the brown that you like , this will make the colour brighter and last longer.
if you just put the brown on after a few washes it will turn brown/green you need to put the red pigment back in first which is in all dark brown hair originally. good luck !

I am a bleach blonde who had dyed the underside of her hair multiple colors. Let me tell you that you had better go to the salon and have a professional do it for you. I dyed my hair brown and let me tell you it wasn't pretty. Also, my hair will not hold even permanent color, it fades in a few weeks and faded brown hair is disgusting to say the least. Leave this one to the professionals.

hi

Don't do it

Your hair will go green, you need to have your hair pre-pigged (red add back in to it), Can turn out to be costly but its worth getting it done properly. Ask for a consultation first. that shouldn't cost, some salons will just add a little red into the base colour, but this dosen't pre-pig the hair, looks good on the day or for a couple of washes, but your hair will start to show a green tinge. Be aware.....Good luck

It would look fine at first, but if your hair is very damaged and bleached out, it could fade fast, and then it might turn greenish or reddish depending on the undertones of the color. I suggest using a Natural shade, don't choose Ash tones or Golden tones, just choose a Natural or Neutral tone and it might work okay. Otherwise, let your hair grow out and start over.

it will go dark brown but it will also wash out gradually so my advice is to get a dark brown moose first put that on your hair first then on top of that put the dye on the moose this will stick to your bleach hair and give you a better colour
