There is not one best exercise out there. The best one for you is the one that you enjoy doing most. If you enjoy doing it, you are more likely to exercise more often.

I prefer biking over running and walking. Swimming is pretty good excercise too if its warm enough outside.

Lifting weights and meditation.
You can make weights out of a lot of stuff you already have at home and you can meditate while you are doing it. It makes for a peace-inducing state of mind and a healthy body.
