You're cleaning your face too much, believe it or not. Twice a day is enough (I only wash mine once a day) as too much kicks up oil production. Moisturize with an oil-free moisturizer to help your skin's porosity and control oil production. Keep using medicatons with salicylic acid - since you're using one with that already, you may want to try a spot treatment with benzoyl peroxide (like Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10).
For the days before the pep rally, applying ice to pimples can really help knock out the redness and swelling. Hold it on there until the ice cube melts, several times a day. Also, Visine Red Eye helps immensely by closing up blood vessels on the spot and shrinking redness.
For the day of, do the Visine thing, moisturize (nothing is harder to hide than dry skin) and wear foundation, concealer, and powder. Put some fun color somewhere else on your face (like lips or eyes), and remember, it's not what everyone else is looking at!
In the future, you may want to see a dermatologist if it bothers you enough. Acne is technically considered an infection so it's often covered on your insurance.
Good luck!

As everyone has said - you are over-cleansing. Your skin is probably dehydrated now and is overcompensating by producing more natural oils (sebum). These oils can make pimples worse!
What I suggest is you use a cream cleanser in the mornings when you get up - Neutrogena Extra Gentle is excellent. Follow with a light lotion moisturiser.
Don't use any wipes during the day. Carry some blotting films (Clean and Clear) to blot the oils from your face instead.
Cleanse at night with a foamy cleanser and use your acne treatment(s).
Hope this helps!

ok first of all stop washing ur face soo much u get rid of all the oil and strip ur skin. then ur face creates more oil that causes u to break out, u should only wash ur face 2 times a day. That neutragena actually drys out ur face more so it doesnt help it actually creates more acne. I recommend u get a cleanser for normal/combination skin and use it twice a day. Then use an astringent which is that liquid stuff u put on a cotton ball and wipe ur face down with after u wash ur face that cleans out ur pores and evens out the acids in ur skin. Take a Qtip and dip it in ur on the spot treatment and only apply a very little amount on top of ur blemish, dont over use it. In the morning use and oil free foundation to cover up then get a concealer that doesnt smudge or is water proof to apply over ur zit and it will cover it all day long. dont stress cuz that will cause more zits!

well first u should try doing a sugar scrub and i recomend this to a lot of people because it helps with a lot of problems... its three table spoons of milk mixed with 1/4 cup of brown sugar, rub it on your face for at least a minute then rinse it well with warm water.
If that doesn't work, try a face steamer. you can get them at stores like Zellars. How they work is you put a bit of water into them and then they heat up and you put your face in the thing (you'll understand what i mean when you see it) and let the steam cover your face. Some last longer than others (it also depends on how much water you put in them) but they open your pores and sort of make you sweat out the dirt and every once and a while you wipe your face and then after your done you IMMEDIATLY wash your face with cold water. then you do your normal face washing routine.
Good Luck

Okay, believe it or not, dry skin can actually cause pimples. Since your skin starts drying out, your body actually makes more oil to get rid of the dry skin. Clean your face twice a day, when you wake up and before you fall asleep. Stop using those oily face wipes. Also, use non-comogenic make-up. I used to wash my face and put tons of stuff on to prevent pimpples, but it only made it worse. take my advice. If it doesn't work, try something else. lol! But it should. hih :)

Don't wash it three times a day as the spots become immune to the product and put toothpaste on them. There is a girl in my school who is breaking out and trust me it seems bad but just give up fatty foods and eat healthy vegetables wash your face 2 times a day and LIGHT make up until your pep rally(pimples don't like make up)!!!!!!!!!!

use oxy instead... put it on after washing your face, and it'll be gone by the morning.. and if you're out and about when a pimple decides to join the party, put a drop of visine on it... the reddness will go down in about 10 minutes, then just cover it up w/ a concealor if it really bothers u! good luck w/ the pep rally! go team go!

washing face often is a good thing but too much washing will only increase the oily nature of your skin.i wud say go natural.Try a milk and lemon face wash or apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight and wash it off with warm water the nxt day.But da best way to get rid of them forever would be by appling overnight a mixture of honey and cinnamon powder mixed in a 3:1 ratio on the pimples.Really workss....i've tried it..ALL DA BEST...

sometimes nutreogena soap dries up your skin too quickly therefore making it more prone for pores to be clogged up with your own dead tissue. try using neosporin... for some reason that worked for me in a couple of days. try washing your face with a cleanser that is low on alcohol. & using actual moisturizer... im thinking of the dove kind... usually creams like this make skin oily and just as bad. yep and if your using too much makeup, chill out and just clean your face. ALSO if you'd like, place a damp hot-warm towel over your face and let the vapors on the towel open up your pores as well as cleanse them out.
good luck!
