Anyone know of some good songs for a mom and daughter to play at daughter's wedding that will move her mother? Her mother is very supportive and always there for her.

Hi there! Martina McBride is awesome, and always does such inspirational mother/daughter/girlpower type songs. Some to consider are "This One's For the Girls", "Blessed" and "In My Daughter's Eyes", which WILL make her mother cry. Faith Hill also has some really pretty mother/daughter songs on her new album; I think "Fireflies" is very pretty, as well as LeAnn Rime's version of "You Light Up My Life". If you are going to weave in some contemporary-type tunes, "You're More than a Mom (A Tribute)" by Vickie Winans & Marvin Winans is absolutely beautiful.

Just a correction on one of the other poster's suggestions; I believe "I Hope You Dance" was done by Lee Ann Womack. Also a great song choice--I would have recommended that one too!

If you're looking as well for some good ones to play that are just great wedding songs for the bride and groom, below are other recommendations. Also, for any songs that you can't find/someone doesn't have the CD for, you can purchase individual songs on Wal-Mart.com for 88 cents each. You can also pre-listen to a snippet of them there, too. Good luck to you! :

"Amazed" – Lonestar
"Because You Loved Me" – Jo Dee Messina
"Bless The Broken Road" – Rascal Flatts
"Cowboy Take Me Away" – Dixie Chicks
"Cross My Heart" - George Strait
"I Do" – Paul Brandt
"I Do (Cherish You)" – Mark Wills
"I Love You" – Martina McBride *
"Keeper Of The Stars" – Tracy Byrd
"Love Of My Life" – Sammy Kershaw
"Me and You" – Kenny Chesney *
"No Place That Far" – Sara Evans
"Rock You Baby" - Toby Keith
"Your Love Amazes Me" – John Berry
"You're Still The One" – Shania Twain

"I Hope You Dance" Martina McBride

This song is beautiful and it is absolutely the best mother/daughter song around. Especially a supportive mother. Hopefully I will have a little girl one day and this is going to be our theme song. lol!

Sorry it might be LeAnn Womack but when I typed it into Bear Share her name popped up.
