Extremely easy! I live in a multi-cat household and have never had a problem with kittens or cats using a litterbox unless:
1. The litterbox is dirty -- cats will often refuse to use dirty litterboxes and pee in other places to get the point across.
2. The litterbox is too high -- for kittens (or older cats with arthritis or other medical condition) you have to make sure the sides are not too high to climb into.
3. There are not enough litterboxes and/or the box(es) are in locations that are hard for the kittens to get to.
When I have taken in kittens, all I had to do was show them the litterbox, put them inside the box once, and from then on they used the box.
Note: If your kitten/cat suddenly stops using the litterbox you should take him to the vet. There could be a medical problem like a urinary tract infection.

Kittens pretty much litter train themselves. All you have to do is show them where the box is. Anytime I get a new cat or kitten I immediately put them in the litter box. Once they know where it is they will go there instinctively to do their business. However, cats are picky and they don't like to go in a dirty box. So make sure to keep it clean. Using clumping litter makes this much easier and with only one cat you shouldn't need to scoop the box out more than once a day. You can add litter as needed and completely change the litter maybe once a month. When I do a litter change I put some baking soda in the bottom of the pan. It helps keep the smell down and makes the litter clump tighter. I also add baking soda to the litter every few days. I have heard some cats don't like this, but mine don't seem to mind.

Depends on the cat. Typically it's very easy. We had a bit of a problem with the last kitten we got -- no matter how many times we showed him the litter box he just didn't seem to get it. I ended up keeping him shut in a room with food and a litter box for about 24 hours and that's all it took.

You really don't have to train a kitten. It is a Cat's natural instinct to bury it's waste and since a litter box is the only place in the house a cat can usually dig it automatically uses the Box..

It's not too hard. You should place the kitten in the box and let it sniff around. If the cat should go on the floor, put it in the box immediately. My (3) guys have been pretty good with the cat pan, I would put them in it as soon as the cat got into my apt and not one of them has gone on the floor.

Most cats don't need to be "trained," even the ones that have never used a box. Just put the kitten in the box and let it scratch around. Its mother has already taught it to cover its mess, so once it knows where to go, it will go there.

The first thing I did when I brought my last kitten home from the pound was set her in the fresh, clean litter box in the "stinky room" and then I took her to the bowls in the "food room," finally followed by her "play room." Despite being so tiny, she picked it up just like that.

cats naturally go to their litter box , really all you have to do is show him where it is, when I had my cats I walk with them toward the sand box , I walk like a cat, pretend to dig a hole in the sand box , the kitties are inmediately interested, so far I haven't had any litter box problems. But be prepared for your kitten to have accidents, kittens are promt to have stomach problems and really they are accidents, your kitty prefers to use her box.

Should be easy just stick the cat in the box and they should know what to do. They are attracted to the smell. They may need help finding it sometimes.
