We have a 32" Magnavox television. We have had it about 15 months...
the other night, when we turned it on, the picture was weird...the color was
wrong and it had lines going through it...the volume did not work and then,
within 5 seconds, the TV shuts off...anyone have any idea what that might
be??

Why do people waste points to post stupid, non-responsive answers? I didn't buy the thing at WalMart and it's not aliens! Grow up and learn how to respect people who are simply asking for help!

It's a Magnavox thing...I had a tv that did this very thing and someone else we knew had one that did the same thing...You may have to contact the manufacturer to get this fixed or replaced...we just gave up and bought a JVC TV

That's typical. dont buy from Walmart and youll get better luck, picture and reliability.
