Yes, we know when you're faking it. A real orgasm makes your sweat change smell because your sweat glands begin secreting fatty acids. Also a real orgasm makes your body contract muscles that you have no voluntary control over. It'd be a very stupid (or very inexperienced) man who can't tell the difference between a fake and a real female orgasm. A lot of men probably are too polite to point it out when women fake it because it would start an argument at a bad time.
