No but so what, you don't have one after you're born, either.

When we are concieved we have no brain at first, and when we are born we can't remember anything from the whom because the brain is not fully developed, that's why people don't remember themselves as very young babies, because esentially the part of the brain that does that simply is not developed. The only reason why we know we are alive is because we remember what has happened. The soul/ or life essence I believe resides in the brain, so if there is no brain, and there is no memory, does this mean, scientifically, that there is no soul; because we are unaware of ourselves and the world around us? I am not saying there is no soul at birth, I just wanted to put out a notion for people to ponder.

There is much biblical evidence that yes we did exist before we entered the womb. Check out Jeremiah 1:5.
There was a great rebellion long ago in a former age. Lucifer rebelled before man was made flesh and this is an important time to understand.
Ezekiel chapter 28 and Ezekiel chapter 31 are very interesting to read concerning this time.
Also oftentimes in the New Testament when we see the word "world" in the english it is actually speaking of an aeon or long period of time, not the planet Earth itself. It is very helpful to know of the three ages, the one past the one present and the one future.
www.shepherdschapel.com teaches about this subject and many other subjects of great interest to the inquiring mind.

James 2:26 says “the body without the spirit is dead”. Since a child before birth is alive (taking in nourishment, moving, growing, responding to stimulants, etc.), then that body (no matter how small) must have a spirit or soul.
My opinion is that the soul comes into existence when the body comes into existence, at conception.

Born is the correct word. A soul is at home on the other side before they are born into another body.
There is no soul at conception or at 30 weeks gestation either!

Befoire being born - yes. Before conception, no. A human being comes into existence at the moment of conception, biologically and spiritually. There are no "partial humans" hanging around waiting to be united with a body. The human being, body and soul, are created at the same moment.

A person is a trinity; body, soul & spirit. Spiritual death/ blindness happens when we rebel against God purposely. Jesus said that to see the Kingdom of God, we must be born again. The first man is flesh, the second of the Spirit of Heaven. With Spiritual rebirth, person is whole again; body, soul & spirit.
Everyone has a body, soul & spirit at birth. I believe the wholeness of a person is being formed in the womb.

God knows us before we are conceived in the womb. So I would say we have a soul before being born.

Yes, all of us do. Read Jer Chapter one and you see where God knew Jeremiah before he was put in the womb. Each soul is to come one time into flesh, born of woman.

A living soul is a spirt and a body. When you were born, your spirit and body are joined together as a mortal soul. After you die your spirit and body will separate and you will be incomplete again. When you are resurrected your perfected body and spirit are reunited again, never to die, then you are an immortal soul.

Yes we existed as spirits before being born. In the Bible in the Book of Jeremiah 1: 5 it reads: "Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest froth out of the womb, I sanctified thee..." The entire book of Ephesians also talks about being forordianed to come to the earth and talks about life before life with God.
I hope this helps
