Yes, you can get outbreaks anywhere. I've seen them on the side of the nose, on the mouth. You can also have such a bad outbreak that they could be in your mouth and throat.

Yes........a cold sore is actually a type of Herpes infection....Herpes Simplex 1. The Herpes Simplex 2 is the sexually transmitted disease....."the gift that keeps on giving". They're both a viral infection, and you can get them both anywhere on your body. Usually doctors prescribe Valtrex for the Herpes simplex 2 infections. For cold sores, you can get some Herpicin, or Abreva at places like pharmacies and Wal-Mart and they work well with that. If you are concerned, then see your doctor. Best of luck to you.

No cold sores only appear in your mouth that could be a pimple or something else you need to go to the doctor and get that checked out....

yes u can... a cold sore is the herpes virus and u can get it anywhere around ur mouth.chin and lower cheeks including ur genitals... dont worry it will clear up... just dont kiss any1 till it does..
use zovirax from ur drug store or natural aloe vera to sooth the irritation

yes. there are two types of The herpes simplex virus (HSV): HSV1 & HSV2.
HSV1 mostly infects oral mucosa. most commonly known as cold sore on the lips, but it can also infect other oral mucosal sites such as the eye. although not very common, but in some cases it can also inffect genital mucosa or damaged skin.
HSV2 mostly infects genital mucosa, commonly known as genital herpes, but it can also infect oral mucosa and damaged skin in some cases.

Yes, you can get them anywhere that comes into contact with the liquid in the blisters. ABREVA- get it and use it until it is gone. It will help it heal much faster without irritation. It is about $15 but definately worth it.
