Wow 5 months?!? that's a long time..(well for me it is). Anyway, honestly..there is no right waiting time. Depends how you both feel, if the mood is right, and you're being safe. really it's your judgement call and if he's like most guys, i'd doubt he'd say no..especially since he's already waited 5 months..unless he's one of those save for marrriage types (I have a friend who is..it turned off a lot of girls). Anyway yeah..do what feels right, sex is not something to feel obligated into.
p.s. What I said does not apply if you're under the age of 16. If your 16+...yeah do what feels right. just don't feel pressured..

have u guys been dating for 5 months or has it been 5 months since u've had some? I am a little unclear about that but which ever way it is that is totally your decision to do. If u plan on building a relationship with this person the best thing to do is to wait but if u are already dating him and it has been 5 months then no i dont think that is too soon and do whatever your heart desires

Well honestly I feel that your question is your decision to make for yourself because only you truly know when you are ready obviously you might be if you are asking this question and also do you feel that you know him well enough to give him something so special and if the answer to this question is yes you are both consenting adults go for it and if things go wrong or something bad happens out of the situation I personally feel like you waited long enough and then you live and learn from your mistakes

So what are you waiting for? And why do you need our permission? If you're a competent adult and take precautions, go for it. But don't get all excited about "this relationship is forever" because it may not be forever.

You're not in love, you're in lust. You grow into love, and that takes more than a mere five months. Not being deeply and completely head-over-heels in love is no reason not to enjoy sex - but if he gets demanding and starts asking for stuff you find weird and/or are uncomfortable with, show him the door.

That really depends upon your values and his. There's no time-clock, by-the-calendar obligation for having sex. It's time when both of you decide it's time. I personally wouldn't until I was certain this was the person I'd like to spend the rest of my life with and we had made a commitment to one another, but that's me. Other people feel differently. Talk to him. If you want to and he wants to; if both of you are of legal age, unmarried, and free of sexually transmittable diseases; and as long as neither of you has religious or philosophical issues that will make you feel guilty afterwards for having done so, then maybe it's time. But don't do it just because you think you should or because you're afraid your boyfriend will leave you if you don't. If he really cares for you, he's in for the long haul. Be sure it's what you want and what is right according to your values.

If you decide to, remember to practice safe sex.

Ummm if you have to ask that question on Yahoo Answers... I'm gonna go ahead and say absolutely not. You should be able to know when you're ready to have sex with a guy. Grow up a little.

Well it's not like theres a certain day that you have to have sex on. If you are both ready, then go for it. But don't feel like you have to just because it's been so long. Follow your heart, do what feels right!

If you're ready, go for it. But there's no rush. Once you start you can never have that first time with him again. So if you've waited this long, make it something special and because you are in love with eachother.

Well, if you're ready, then I don't see why you shouldn't. Use protection, and only do it if you're sure he's ready, and if you're sure he's not sleeping with anyone else. You two are a couple, correct? I don't know if you should do it if you've been on some dates with him and are not officially boyfriend and girlfriend. You know?

If you are asking this on YA it is too early. The right time will be when it happens and neither one of you expected it to.

BY THE WAY I READ WHERE YOUR QUESTION FROM A MONTH AGO SAID THAT HE WAS PRESSURING YOU TO HAVE SEX>.... WHICH IS IT??? DOES HE WANT IT OR NOT>
Dont do it sweetie. just wait. Please.
