Okay, here's the deal. I am seen as a very confident, pretty, nice, and funny individual. I am 16 and have had 2 boyfriends in my lifetime. I have lots of friends and am very content with my life. Except that, I am secretly shy around guys I truly like. No one really knows this except my close girlfriends, because I am so outgoing. But when it comes to guys I'm super shy. So anyway, the guy I really like is a senior, I am a junior in high school. I have met him only once at a party, he made quite the impression. However, I haven't talked to him since. Now, I see him in school sometimes, but rarely, and we have no classes together. We also have no clubs or after-school activities together. Most of my friends are not friends with his friends, except for one friend, and she won't help me. She thinks he is just some emo druggie, but I think otherwise. Anyway, I just don't know what to do. I really like him, even though we've only met once. It's weird. What should I do to get his attention?

well first ask around about him and get all the information you can about him and if anyone asks why cover under curiosity and do not tell anybody because you will be risking him knowing about it too soon, then try to smile to him and if you walk by him or see him anywhere him talk about almost anything and try to hang out in his crowd and you will have more conversation with him that's gotta count for something right??

when i was in high school i once had a crush and yes shy to talk to someone i really care for its werid but i understand what you are saying. and one of his friends say hes a druggie? well i bet they know. if i was told that i would run the other way. we didn't have much of that in the 60's so i really can't relate to that but hey you can talk to him and let him know you never know he may like you. now days girls are more into talking straight and forward but if hes into bad stuff i am not quite sure that is good idea but you have to be strong and learn to get going. youhave outgoing nature with others and i did also but i did do things which i am sure were out of place then but now its common place go girl go

Just try tlking 2 him. Try and bcome friends with him, and u'll notice tht after a while all the shyness will b gone.

Smile when you see him. Ask him if its ok to email him and go from there. Talk about anything you have in common. ask him if he would like company for lunch. Take care Heather

You better try to be his friend.The first time you go to talk to him say him:Hi!I really like to be your friend.But...Can I?If he tells you yes good but if this is not work be friend with his friends.And mabye you got a chance.

Maybe he liked you too but didn't know that you liked him also.
You can probably ask one of his friends to ask if you are that shy.

Just talk to him...get his screen name or something and chat it up...get to know him better and let him get to know you...after chattin in and outta school...see if he wants to hang out...
