If you "might" believe in God, you're not an atheist. Atheists either have no belief in God at all, or believe that there is no God.

Not knowing is called agnosticism. Some agnostics simply haven't made up their minds, while others believe it is impossible to know whether or not God exists.

If you do believe in God, don't be in any hurry to find out "what religion" you are. People who leap into prefabricated belief systems end up ten kinds of crazy when they try to reconcile it with their own true beliefs. Believe what you want to believe. It doesn't need a name.

To be an atheist, you would not hold a belief in god(s). So you're not an atheist.

Just so you know, you don't qualify as agnostic (from what you've said) because you haven't stated you believe it impossible to know if god exists or doesn't exist. Agnostics can believe in god or be atheists.

Agnosticism is a philisophical position defined by Huxsley early in the 20th century, which states it's impossible to show god(s) exists or doesn't exist. A muddled definition commonly used by some is that you just don't know - but this is erroneous until common usage trumps the definition currently in the dictionary.

You just sound a bit confused.

Most people who are atheists are those who dismiss God because they want to BE God......the one who decides what is good and what is evil.

Gen 3:4-5

4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
(from New International Version)

It's the same big lie that makes your life miserable, scared of God and constantly judging other people while knowing that they are judging you.

Time for a change?

The word that best describes you would probably be an Agnostic. Not a very stable one though, you swing back and forth between being an Agnostic and being a Theist.

Confused would also work ;).

You are agnostic without a doubt. I am agnostic deist. I believe there is a God. He was the big bang and then evolution took over. I believe that our souls live many lives and most souls cross over. All religious books are mostly fiction and are in no way an accurate portrayal of God.

If you believe in god, you are not an atheist by definition. Period. It has nothing to do with big or small bang.

You don't have to go to church you get to go to church. Church helps you overcome weeknesses you didn't know you had. Church sharpens your understanding of who God really is and it helps you to be pleasing to God most of the time. You see when we recieve the testamony of man it makes the testamony stronger in us. And God is pleased with this. And if you want to be in the presence of God and Jesus Church is the place to get it.
God is working in the church to bring good results to His people and you being one of them He will minister to you in church at one time or another. Believe me we need it.

You're agnostic I guess. Since agnostic means that you're not sure if god exists or not. But if you were really smart and if you were to REALLY think about it, I'm sure you'd find the right answer to the question "does god exist?"
