God says and promises if we do a,b,&c,He will do d
God says if we do w,x,y,He will do z
If we use faith first, pray for what we want or need, and have patience(while still having faith),He will answer our prayers.Sometimes we may not like the answer, but He will answer
Let's see:
A+B+C=D
W+X+Y=Z
Faith+Prayer&Obedience to God's Word+Patience(while still having faith)=Answer from God(Evan if its not always favorable)
Seems logical to me;so why do people say God is not logical?
James 5:6-Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Because God has nothing to do with logic. No god has promised anything. You're just going on what some superstitious yokels who lived thousands of years ago said (with modern interpretations that vary widely from original intent).

I don't know base on which factor do people say god is not logical, different people have different definition anyway.
However, as far as I know a true spiritual practiioner who seriously wish to have spiritual growth, they would not simply believe base on promise and praying. I mean, whoever can give us any huge promise, but how do we ensure that those promise will come true, please don't tell me just have faith and I will save. I have seem too many real life stories that even those people have sincere faith still suffering intensely, so it is more than simply promise, faith and praying.
As far as I have taught, a compassionate spiritual leader, no matter how we behavoir, whether we obedience to their words or not, their would still love us and have compassion toward us. If any religion say we MUST have faith without asking any question even we are in doubt, MUST obedience to their words, don't ask any question but just listen, then I would really question that religion whether suitable for me or not.
Because I'm not a person who buy into peer's pressure, dont buy into 'becasue I'm raised into that', I would go into intensify study and searching, question after question when I in doubt.

Because ALL mythical, made-up beings are not logical. Especially BELIEVING in a mythical being.
I see you are quoting a lot from the bible. Have you read the book Misquoting Jesus yet? It was recently published. The author recently found ancient documents that once and for all prove that the bible is about 80% made up by translators and scribes. In other words, the book is a lie. And by the way, the author used to be a minister.
I take that back, Gandalf from LOTR is pretty logical.

Just because it seems logical to someone who's sense of logic is severely impaired, does not make it logical. I've read things you think are logical...I feel bad for you that you're so poorly educated in this area.
If I pray to my cat, I get the same response as you get praying to your god, you know. Sometimes I don't like the answer I get. Sometimes it makes no sense at all.
Same thing happens if I pray to the "Magic Eight Ball".
That doesn't mean it's logical to think my cat and the magic eight ball control the universe and grant my wishes.

1. Belief in god is not logical. You must have FAITH. Faith is, by definition, the opposite of reason.
2. Your logic only makes sense if god actually answers prayers based on some set of rules. Since many unexplained bad things happen to good people who are very religious and play by the rules- your math is not shown to play out in reality.

Wouldn't there first have to BE a god in order for all of the statements about him to be true?
So, if you prove that god exists first, then you might proceed to the other statements. Until then, god is just an imaginary entity.
There is nothing "logical" about believing an imaginary entity actually exists.

You aren't being logical in your logic.
Faith and prayer and paitence can lead to positive or negative results. A sick person can get well and prove God's providence. A sick person can die and prove that God wants them home.
A faithless sick person can get well and it means that God created a wonderful body. A faithless sick person can die and it means that God will now pass judgement.
Christian logic is designed to prove only one outcome; that there is a God. A positive or negative result from a test is considered positive proof. Christians do not permit arguments that can disprove what they believe. It's faulty logic.

To you "logic" is if I say YOU do a b and c, you will do d. That is logic.
So if god said feed green cheese to your dog, paint your hair with car paint and exfoliate your cat every hour, then I will give you eternal life - THAT would be logical. According to you.
And you wonder why we get frustrated...

You are assigning non quantifiable attributes to symbols in math that represent quantifiable constants. How logical is that?
God illogical? Well, virgin birth, rising from the dead, talking donkeys and snakes are all pretty illogical.
