Well.. thats pretty vage... depends on the situation I guess and who it effect. My closest gf's are like my sisters.. I could tell them anything. We always tell each other "I'd help you bury the body"... thats our little way of letting each other know, we would be there no matter what! At the same time, I've been friends with them for 14-17 years though (since we were 10-13), so I know they have a good track record and they are loyal.

You didn´t clarify what is your big situation but from my experience, trusting is very very deceiving but can also can result in beautiful results. For me, when it comes to trusting something very big and important, I only trust my self and follow my instinct. This way, if I make a mistake, I can´t blame anyone but my self and learn from the mistake or celebrate my success! First try to trust your self and your instinct if not go to your parents, your husband, they will be the very best resource of trust. The old saying... blood is thicker then water. Good luck!

I assume you mean who do you tell when you've got big news, like that you have a crush or something.
The best way to tell is their loyalty. Do they blurt out everything you tell them, or do they keep secrets? Are they bold enough to tell you that something's up with you, or do they not really care what you feel?
The best people to tell are the ones that confront you with questions they have about you and keep secrets. Gotta love those people!
