Even though he did approach the victim he was warned by a 911 agent. They always warn people to stay away. The case will come down to George himself. He will have to explain why he went against the advice and what happened when he approached the victim. This all favors George because he's the only one that can tell the story since there were no witnesses to the beginning of the confrontation. Perhaps he took the advice and the victim started coming for him. He got out of the car to better protect himself. There were only two people involved at the beginning. George and the victim. The case hinges on what happened that started the fight and only George himself can tell that story. The other guy is dead. It's too bad. This is all because of a dumb law Jeb Bush put into place. Any other state and this guy would be in prison right now. As it stands, this guy has a good chance of getting away with at least manslaughter.

George Best was the greatest player I ever saw. He had absolutely everything in abundance, heading, tackling and absolutely amazing ball skills. Unfortunately he had one Achilles heel, the booze. It wrecked his career and in the end cost him his life.
George played on pitches that would not be recognised as such in the modern game and yet could still do amazing things despite the surface. When measured against the names that are normally bandied about, Pele, Maradona, etc, he is right up there. Those of us that saw him play forget all the embarrassing things that happened afterwards. Never be the like again.

Because he NEVER played in the world cup, and only played for a short while at a high level in an era that allowed skillful play EG Stan Bowles,Rodney Marsh...
But -like Beckham- became famous beyond his achievements, and so is overrated(really-better than maradonna!!)
