She's going to be out of it for the rest of today and maybe some of tomorrow morning. Anesthesia takes 6-8 hours to get out of an animals systems, sometimes as long as 24 hours. So for a while, she's going to be sleepy and won't want to do much of anything.
She shouldn't eat tonight, but always offer water. If the doctor gave her pain medication, be sure to give it as instructed. She may have gotten a pain shot before she left the doctors office, so be sure to follow the instructions that were given to you at her pick up.
Animals mostly take care of themselves after surgery. When she feels better, she'll be up and walking around. Just try to keep her from jumping up on things (if she does that) and keep an eye on her pulling at her stitches. Licking is normal though, there's nothing wrong with that. If she has a bed to lay on on the floor, that would be great.
Some dogs eat poo. There's loads of questions on here about that so you can go back and see all the responses, lol.
In a few days, she'll be back to almost her regular self.

It's normal for her to be feeling a little drowsy after surgery. Just make sure she has a comfy bed or crate and give her access to lots of water. Don't let her do any jumping or leaping, as this could rip the stitches out. She should start feeling better either tomorrow or in the next few days.
A lot of puppies eat poo, but you shouldn't let her. Clean her feces up from the yard right away so that she doesn't have access to it. When she does start eating poo, use a shaker can (a pop can with small rocks in it) to distract her, and then immediately give her a toy or treat. Then take her away from the poo and clean it up. Buy a Kong toy for her. Then stuff it with peanut butter and treats, and even freeze it if you like. Most dogs love these, and it'll keep them entertained for a while. If you have a stuffed Kong handy, you can use this to replace the poo she was just eating. If you're consistent, she'll likely grow out of the habit.

Actually Coprophagy is common but it is not normal. The only time it is normal is when a dog has a litter and she is cleaning up after them and licking to stimulate their digestive system. Once they start on solid food, she will stop that as it changes their feces and it no longer has the scent that appeals to her.
Coprophagy can be caused by a number of reasons; diet, bordom, etc (see the attached article).

I have had a few dogs start to do this and purchased For-bid (http://www.upco.com/cgi-bin/Upcol.storefront/45bd62b800481c3eea6dc0a80aa506f5/Search/Run) you can get this on-line or from your Vet. It usually works rather well.
Keep in mind, however, that once this bad habit has developed (just like cribbing in horses), it's very hard to stop it permanently. You will likely find that you will have to use the For-bid periodically throughout the dogs life.
Good Luck! :)

I agree that crating her or keeping her on a leash for a few days is a good idea until the wound starts healing, but I have also found that when my puppy starts going nuts in the house, if I hold a simple training session, like teaching her to sit, stay, down, etc. with good treats for every time she is correct (of course) seems to immediately calm and tire her out. Good luck and prompt recovery for the puppy :).

She has been through a scarey time. Being away from you and hurting. Just show her lots of love and attention ,she should be fine. Now , about eating her poop. This may sound strange but some dogs just like the taste. You can buy a powder to put on her food that will make her poop taste really bad to her. She will eventually stop eating it.

Ahh, poor thing. Yeah, she just feels icky. Maybe give her some chicken noodle soup. If you don't give her any kind of people food give her a Frosty Paws, frozen treats for dogs. She eats her poo to clean up behind herself and she might need a vitamin. Give her carrot sticks they love them. My lab is 13 years old and I give her a 1/4 of a cup of boiled chicken on her food every morning and night and she's very healthy. Just love her and have a soft pillow for her.

Why do dogs (and other animals) eat poop? Many animals eat poop on a regular basis. These include rabbits, rodents, gorillas, many insects such as dung beetles and flies, and yes, dogs. (Keep that in mind the next time a dog wants to lick you!) Herbivores such as rabbits and rodents eat their own poop because their diet of plants is hard to digest efficiently, and they have to make two passes at it to get everything out of the meal. This is equivalent to a cow chewing its cud, only cows are able to re-eat their food without having to poop it out first. Another reason why animals eat poop is that poop contains vitamins produced by their intestinal bacteria. The animal is unable to absorb the vitamins through the intestinal wall, but can get at them by eating the poop. Another reason that animals such as dogs and flies eat poop is that poop contains a certain amount of protein. Dogs are particularly fond of cat poop because cat poop is high in protein. I had a friend with a dog and a cat, and he never had to clean the kitty litter. The dog took care of it.

It is natural for your dog to eat its own poo. You should not let it though. Often dogs will eat there poo cause they know they are going to get into trouble if you find it. You cant do much about her getting spayed except comfort her and stay close to her. Poor thing. She will be OK though.

well, she probably won't feel good for a week or so...she's probably in a bit of discomfort which is normal.
Also, eating her own poo is quite normal too. I think that's because there's still a lot of undigested food in her fecal matter. Though I would discourage her from eating her own poo....the best thing to do is pick her up right after she does her business (to prevent her from eating it) and then clean up after her right away.
Good luck!
