I don't know many overweight people cos' of the region I live in. But there's an overweight girl I know who's telling everyone what a poor girl she is. She simulates some situations to look even more unhappy. That's a mind illness, I think.
And there's another overweight girl I know who is smart and to my mind even sexy.
Moral: The problem is INSIDE such people. Whether they just try to find themselves nice interesting and sexy - everything will change.
Note: hard pathology cases such as 150kg+ excluded. Sorry, gotta cure.

Because fat people lack ambition. Same goes for people with poor grammar.
