He had it coming for him anyway so he decided to make up a little religion while he was dieing. There is no "sin", all a made up term by religious fanatics.

Because Adam sinned, sin spread to all man kind. Jesus gave his perfect life so that all man kind would have a chance to live forever the same chance God gave Adam and Eve. You can read about this at Romans 5:12. So one perfect life was given as a ransom for another which is the same concept as an eye for an eye or a life for a life in the law God gave to the Jews.

The Bible teaches us that ALL have sinned Romans 3:23 and that the wages we deserve for our sin is death Romans 6:23
The thing is...He died for all our sins---for those who sinned in the past...in the Old Testament---who looked forward in faith to His coming.... and for those who will sin in the future. So it does not matter whether you wer born or not when He died... He died for your sins you committed since you were born. He took all the sins upons himself...the sin of the whole world...past, present and future. His sacrifice was sufficient for all time. We were all born sinners because of Adam's fall. But because Jesus came, we can all be redeemed and forgiven, if we accept His provision.

Every person from the beginning of time, until the end of this age, will be and was born in sin. Before we were conceived God knew that we would sin and the only way for us to be saved was by the blood of His precious Son- the perfect lamb of God. From a human standpoint of course it makes absolutely no sense- however God's ways are different than ours- obvious you cannot say that you have lived a perfect. life, not perfect- me either- God knew that before we were conceived, but He loved us so much that He still chose to create us to have a personal relationship with Him, but since He is Holy and we are not- there had to be a sacrifice for sin- either our eternal death and separation from Him or Christ to die so that we can have that relationship. Now that is love!!

Because since Christ is risen, we can be risen with him. Thats where the whole born-again stuff comes in. Since the first sin we have been waiting for Redemption, and when Christ came we could be sanctified. He did not die for just the people in his lifetime. Being the unique Son of God, his blood can atone for us all because his blood is worth much more than all of us. The Jews used to sacrifice the best of their animals so that the blood of the animal would atone for their sins, but the blood of Jesus is worth enough to atone for the sins of all mankind if they would seek atonement. If they do not, no other means of atonement will justify them and they will die in their own sins.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

all people are sinners, Jesus is the only, that can forgive our sins. that is why he died for us-everyone. God knows every person's life before you were even born. Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
1-John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

He died for all of humanity. God cannot look upon or accept sin. He is holy. Jesus died for all of our sins. He paid the debt so we don't have to.
If you really want to know, you can read it yourself. Start in the New Testament (or Matthew). You can even go online and read the Bible these days which is pretty cool. God is interested in knowing each of us.

yes, Jesus is our Savior because HE sacrificed HIs life and died on the cross for our sins, and then rose again, thus conquering death for us. even tho we wernt born yet, He still knew that we would be born, and would sin, thus needing to be saved. when He died, He died for those past, present, and future.

Jesus' death on the cross was for all time and for all "men". God stands outside of time -- it is a human invention. Because of our potential to sin -- and because of the sin of our first patrents, Adam & Eve, going to heaven for any of us was no longer possible. Jesus' death opened for us the door to heaven. In other words, he was the ransom price that was paid to the Father so that it would finally be possible for us once again to go to heaven when we die.
Again....Jesus and God are eternal and stand outside of time. He died once and for all BUT the merits of his death are applicable to you and me; to people who lived many years before he became incarnate and walked the face of the earth and they are also applicable to those people who are yet to be born! Awesome gift, isn't it?????
Now that that's been said, this is how we Catholics re-present Christ's death to the Eternal Father each and every time a priest says Mass. We do NOT crucify Jesus over and over -- no need for that. But because God stands outside of time, He views our offering as the one and the same offering that Jesus made on the cross back in the year 33. It is by far the most pleasing gift we can offer to the Father -- the Body and Blood of his Only Begotten Son. Not only that, we now have the ability to unite our own selves to this sacred offering.
Last thing: Jesus' death ONLY paid the ETERNAL price for our sins. We still need very much the sacrament of reconciliation/penance/confession in order to make restitution and accept responsibility for our sins. For example -- if your neighbor tells you not to play basketball near her house and you choose to persist in doing just that and you break her window, she may opt to "forgive you" but this would not take the place of you accepting respnsibility for you own actions. It would be incumbant upon YOU to make amends by paying for a new window. So, when you sin, yes....Jesus forgives you in that it is not held against you BUT you still need to seek reconciliation. Far too many fundamentalists claim that Jesus paid the price for our sins and therefore we do not need to make amends -- but this is not quite correct -- our sins affect ALL of us. The "penance" is to fix the break in our relationship with others. We are reconciled to God and TO EACH OTHER.
(I don't know about you but some of my sins have been rather embarrassing....I'm glad we Catholics have private confession without others judging us. The priest "receives" our sins, gives us absolution IN THE NAME OF JESUS, blesses us and then determines an appropriate penance. I love the Sacrament of Reconciliation!)
