Sometimes people say that I am too skinny, and some people will even say I look anorexic. I am just naturally skinny and I hardly even exercise. Some of my friends have even said that I look perfect, but then they will make fun of my size. Does this mean that they are just jealous and insecure with themselves?

Don't let your friends get to you. Some people are just naturally skinny. It could mean that they are jealous. You might put on some weight as you age, and if not bask in the glory of knowing that you look ****** awesome.

I have a really good friend just like you. She's always been lean but she doesn't have an eating disorder. It's funny that people would actually pick on someone for being TOO SKINNY since most of the time chubby people get bullied. I say a real friend will accept you just the way you are, bones and all! There are lots of people you can choose to be friends with - stick with those who are positive and uplifting! Most of all, just love yourself!

Take good care!

I have the same kind of problem. I am 5"0 and I weigh in between 95-105lbs. I don't exercise, I eat fatty foods all the time, I just do nothing.. but I do not gain weight.

Alot of people used to tell me "you really need to gain weight" but others including past boyfriends always told me I was "perfect".

The best thing to do, if you are concerened with your weight it see a doctor. They can tell you which weight is best for your height and if you are healthy, etc.

Most people who make fun of you because of it, do it to make themselves feel better. Im not joking. Its horrible, but its a natural thing for people who are insecure and jealous. They may not be hardcore jealous... but i guarentee there are times when they will say to themselves privately.. "If only I was as thin as her".

But with that being said, don't worry about what other people think of you or say about you. All you would have to do is say to them "You don't it, don't look at it" put them in thier place.

People who make fun for the soul reason of hurting really shows what they think about themselves even if they are trying to act like they are better then you. If they feel the need to make fun of you, then they aren't worth your time to be honest.. you don't need to put up with it.

As long as you are happy with how you look, forget what everyone else says, and live your life the way you want. Its your body not thiers.

Good luck.

Isn't it tiresome? A year ago society...ie the tabloids...had us accusing everyone of having a "baby bump" (I hate that expression) and now we're on high anorexia alert. Yeah, there's definitely a problem when you see someone go from having a "normal" body down to something super-skinny, but in all the hype it really does a number on someone like yourself who's just naturally skinny.

I'd say, if everyone has known you at this size forever, they're jealous or have nothing better to do. Tell them that their remarks are hurtful...friends shouldn't make comments like that.

It's a big fat chance that they're jealous. Jealousy, insecurity, and girls goes well together.

But for me personally, I like ideal ones. Let's just say I have pretty bad experiences with the skinny ones. And yes, it has to do with their build, but no, I won't get into details.

always remember you keep you happy. I know it hurts to hear people always giving their opinions. Especially when you did not even asked for it. Of course they are jealous. Wouldn't we all love to have a small waist? Don't worry about it. If you like your size then it shouldn't matter to anyone else.

Honestly...it's probably both.

A. There are people who will be honest with you regardless if they are jealous or not.

B. Then there are just jealous people. (also, are these people who are telling you youre too skinny, are they skinny themselves? that should tell you right there....)

if you are your natural size than you are not too small...
if your friends joke it could simply be friendly teasing - most people do this with their friends and it is not about jealousy...if you are bothered by it then you could let them know - ask yourself first why it bothers you - do you take yourself too seriously or do you think it is meant to hurt you?
if they don't stop after you asked them not to then there is more going on there and they aren't very good friends...

Did you put this question expecting complements?...Yes you did.

By the way skinny isnt sexy...slim is.

Skinny is inadequate muscles and fat to cover your skeletal system. its unhealthy.

Slim is just enough and strong muscles to cover your skeleton, with the least possible amount of fat reqired over that, giving the body perfect shape. Very difficult to maintain.

Now you decide which category you belong to.
