Sorry to hear about your discomfort.

I would suggest:

*Warm up about five to ten minutes before the rest of the class starts (what the heck, ranking belts should do this kinda thing anyway, right?).

*Hydrate appropriately after practice (H2O is best).

*Stay warm after practice.

**It's really easy to get your muscles "chilled" this time of the year after you're done with your workout.

**Bring something which is just BARELY uncomfortably warm to wear for after practice, and keep it on until you get home.

** Works for me.

Hope this helps.

If it was your VERY FIRST CLASS, then I'd say that you are just getting used to using your muscles in a different way then you're not used to.

Martial Arts uses the muscles in more ways that many of us aren't used to using in our daily life.

give yourself another week or so, and you'll get used to using those muscles in a better way eith less feeling of soreness in your body, it just takes time if you're just beginning your Martial Arts training

another thing is, you may not have stretched yourself out or properly warmed yourself up before class, so naturally, you're gonna be sore afterwards.

getting to class 15 minutes early to stretch your muscles and properly warm up will help you do better in class and avoid some of the soreness after class the following day.

good luck, and good training.

You might want to see your doctor. This could be a sign of the start of something serious with your health. I had a cousin who was very fit, she started to get sore, and tired. They ran some test and they came back that she had leukemia. I wish you luck, I pray it is a minor thing, and it goes away on its own.

Have you started training differently? If so, it is probably sore muscles. If not, you should probably see a doctor, you may have suffered an injury. With the pain so widely distributed, my 1st guess would be a nerve injury, but a doctor can tell you for sure.

it is your body's way of saying you are training too hard-slow down a bit.
