I've had the beginnings of a cold sore since yesterday. I need it to go away in time for my sister's wedding in two days. Any suggestions?

Once it pops up, there's nothing you can really do for a cold sore besides let it run it's course. Ice will help the redness and swelling a little bit. Next time you start to feel a cold sore coming on (a tiny tingling sensation) get Abreva or Anbesol and put it on there ASAP, up to 4 times a day. This should stop the virus from replicating and thus stop the cold sore from appearing.

Well, I just had one last week. And it was in the center of my top lip. I felt like my lips got there first. It just came out of nowhere. I saw my Aunt that very morning and she suggested. Mens After shave. It will dry it up Quick it has some of the same ingredients as Abreva mainly alcohol. Which is known for evaporating the inflamed sore. So I see that you have some other god ideas as well. But good luck and congrats on the Family wedding.....
