Would it be a bad thing to allow people of European descent an easier time getting European Union work permits and people of African descent in getting African Union work permits?

By the same token, should Brazilians and Liberians who can prove an American ancestor have an easier time coming to America?

It annoys me to no end thinking of some distant Americo-Liberian cousin rotting in a refugee camp in Ghana, or some Confederado cousin in a crime infested favela in Sao Paulo while Mexicans just jump the fence.

People of American or European descent will be in their current country because their ancestors chose to move there. If they don't like where they are it's unfortunate but they've only got their ancestors to blame.

Refugees should be given assistance to be repatriated to the country they were forced to leave (or their parents were forced to leave).

Being able to move to a country because you have a cousin there is a bit flimsy - if that were the case I'd be able to move to America, Canada or Australia.

I sympathise with your cosuin's situations but America didn't put them where they are so it shouldn't be up to America to 'rescue' them.

I don't think that you would get a lot of takers on either the EU or the AU.I am of German ancestry, but no one, from my family has lived in Germany since 1702,so I don't think that will work for me .Even if I wanted to go (I DON'T) And I think you would be hard pressed to find many black Americans that would want to go and stay in Africa .Just like I know nothing of Germany they know nothing of Africa except what we have studied.
No I don't think it should be made easier for anyone, from here,to enter another nation. And I don't think it should be any easier to enter into this nation.
I understand your concern for people in bad situations in other nations .But I don't feel freeing up the immigration process is the answer.

i have English, Swedish, french, dutch and Irish decent in me. does that give me a right to have it easier to go to other country's? no it does not. i have to apply for a visa to go to other country's. anyone coming here haves to apply the legal way to get in here. only criminals sneak in.
