Also, some of the stories themselves do not make sense. Noah's Ark is one of the worst. If you look at it and analyze it you will realize that it is impossible. Tower of Babel. The ancients wanted to build a tower reaching to god, so he sabotaged them by giving them different languages. How tall of a tower could the ancients build? How could it even come close to comparing to the high rises we build today?

Things like Genesis; the world being created in 7 days yet Adam & Eve could have only existed milllions of years later,incinuating God created the earth then came back millions of years later to create people on it. Noah's Ark would have had to have been at least 1000 miles long to put all those animals on it, and he would have had to come to North American to save those ones too, how did he get there, fly? I mean really. I don't doubt that the book was written to warn us about our behavior and whomever wrote it thought he/she was doing the right thing to try to make humans better just as Humanists and/or anyone like that would do but they failed and in essence it backfired and created holy wars, terrorism, bigotry to name a few.

I think the bible makes perfect sense.
