I mean, I know that it causes the hair to split up to the shaft and that single hair may break off, but it is so bad?

yes its bad,
because when u have split ends it will stunt ur hair growth and they make ur hair fuzzy and on top of that they make ur hair look bad.
plz take my advice it has happened to me b4

Split Ends are so aggravating. The best thing to do is get your ends clip like the others said. Also you have to go to your local beauty supply store and ask the sales person there what is really good for split ends and Bingo! You are in business. Just think just because you got your ends cut, does not mean the split ends won't return. Good Luck.

After a while, it will cauz the hair to completely flip out and go frizzy. You can go to a salon and the can give u a look like it wasnt enen cut. It looks like a split end cut. Thats what I always get.

It's not "so bad" but when you get a lot, it makes your hair look white and unhealthy on the ends and it means your hair is very dry and damaged.

It is bad, because it causes your hair to look broke off and damaged and the hair is healthier and more manageable when it is trimmed and in good condition.

Cut off the ends, and try Laminates Gel by Sebastian out of the shower. It really works for me!

It makes it very frizzy and it is bad for your hair so you should get your hair trimmed like every month.

uggh, it means your hair is dried out and dead at the ends, you need a trim if you have split ends
