that last statement about "we also support Iraq"... yeah, right. The US government helped Saddam Hussein to violently rise to power in Iraq in the first place.

the US government only supports whatever fits their agenda at the time.

as for Israel, its funny the country of Germany, which was the one who started the holocaust and all those murders of Jews and others, didn't give up a piece of their own land for the Jews to create Israel. Neither did the American or British government force the Germans to do so...

yet the they forced Palestinians out of their homes and lands when they had nothing to do with the Holocaust.

anyhow, by now what is done is done and both sides need to make peace... the Palestinian extremist groups need to accept that Israel will always be there and that they have a right to live there.... and Israel to give back Palestinian territory up to the 1967 border.

anyhow, the non-tolerant group are the zionists, not those that follow the true teachings of Judaism. The US government is supporting the Zionists.

You made three (at least) errors in your single sentence question.
1) America does not want all RELIGIONS to be tolerant they want PEOPLE to be tolerant. This is a basic idea within the concept called "democracy". (Of course, what exactly is tolerance is subject to another debate.) So, in short, America's basic desire is for democracy to thrive elsewhere.
2) You make the assumption that because Israel is a Jewish state it is wholy based on Judaism. In fact, Israel is primarily a secular democracy. It is probably for this reason alone, more than any other, why America supports Israel.
3) You make the assumption that Judaism is intolerant and seem to claim it is "most" (do you mean more than any others?). This is patently false even by the strictest of definitions of what constituents a "tolerant religion". It is apparently obvious that you know nothing about Judaism ort else you probaly would have at least tried to back up that statement with, oh I don't know, EVIDENCE.

Israel is 1000 times more tolerant then any Muslim country. Including American allies like Saudi Arabia.

Honestly if Israel gave up its weapons its enemies would kill all of them. If the enemies of Israel gave up there weapons there would be peace.

An interesting question pops up from reading the answers to this question:

"Why are so many people on the side of Judaism so quick to attack Islam?"

It's saddening to think that people feel the need to attack any religion, let alone to do so to justify their own or make their own look better. I say let people worship God in their own way - we'll see who's "right" and who's "wrong" when we're dead.

Its actually not Judaism that is intolerant, but instead its people who do not obey God who fit that category. Non-spiritual religionists can murder, rape, steal and because they are in a group that agrees with what they do they get support for these bad behaviors. In a spiritual world these things wouldn't happen.

Easy one here. Israel is mainly agnostic. They are not a Theocracy. Most Israelis are very indifferent to religion. Having spent time there I can attest to it. Also the largest concentrated Muslim community outside of Arabian places,is in Jerusalem.

I read an article last night from about 3 years ago about how the Palestinians are now calling Israelis "Nazi", which is a twist since those are the people that killed the Jews 60 years ago.
