I love ordering it at Vietnamese restaurants, but would like to know how to make it myself.

Ingredients:
1/2 lb Beef round steak (sliced thin)
1/2 lb Chinese broccoli (Cut into2 inch lengths)
1/2 cup milk
4 garlic cloves (minced)
3 tsp Fish sauce
1 onion (wedged)
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Cornstarch
1/4 Cp Water
3 tbsps Cooking oil
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, combine the beef, 2 cloves of crushed garlic, pepper, milk, and fish sauce. Mix well, cover and set aside for 1/2 hour to marinade.

2. Meanwhile, wash and clean the Chinese broccoli, and cut into 2 inch lengths. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix 1 tsp of cornstarch 1/4 cup of water and set aside.

3. In a skillet or frying pan, bring 2 tbsps cooking oil to hot and briefly sauté the onion wedges, and the remaining crushed garlic. Add the beef and sauté for approximately 2-3 minutes. Transfer beef to a plate and set aside.

4. Using the same skillet, bring 1 tbsp cooking to hot. Add the Chinese broccoli and sauté briefly for 2 minutes. Return the beef to skillet and mix well with broccoli for 1 minute. Slowly Stir in cornstarch mixture until sauce thicken. Remove from heat and serve. Garnish with some black pepper.
