Mostly, its a drag that you hate it. Stuff gets taught all the same way to everybody, and that means it often doesn't match very many people very well. Can you find a friend to study with?

Well, NEED it is maybe strong, but helpful, definitely.
Examples: we build a fort from inexpensive stuff and wanted things to be at right angles. Geometry gives you tricks about what to measure.
The idea of proof is actually pretty valuable--- you only know something for sure GIVEN your assumptions--- like in a legal case, what you can conclude depends on whether your assumptions are true.

You better believe it. I am designing a carport for a friend, and use geometry heavily. I don't want the thing to fall down on her shiny new car!

depends on what career you want when you are older.

it does come in handy sometimes in "real life" though
