I somehow doubt it. Unless something incredibly drastic happens I cannot see the governement of the US passing a law outlawing ANY religion, and far less of a chance since almost ALL of the people involved in that process ARE Christians.

I believe it will get a lot worse than that. It's foretold in the Bible that Christians will be treated badly. I believe the laws will change eventually. Satan has a lot of people in his grasp. Even though polls say that there are more Christians than non Christians, I believe that a lot of people just say they are and don't live their life accordingly. Just being on this site, I've realized that a lot of people are down right hateful towards God, for no reason other than that's what they're taught. They'll teach that to their children and as those people push for change in government, more people will go the way the wind blows. There won't be many Christians standing at the end when Jesus comes back. No worries though He wins in the end and I know where I'm going after death. Worst case scenario for non believers is fire for eternity and best case scenario for non believers is a dirt nap forever. Either way their way stinks.

very interesting question- they are making laws right now that are totally against Christ so that would not surprise me, sometime down the road. Did you notice I said against Christ- not Christianity- because Christianity when lived out is really a life lived under the leadership of Jesus Christ- not a set of rules like most religions are. What laws am I talking about? Legalizing abortion- is totally against what Christ would desire- God created each person with a purpose, even when the mother does not desire to have that child- murder is now legal in america, and we call it choice. There is a school district somewhere that I read that it is mandatory to teach Islam and their beliefs- but when a student asked to also have Christianity taught, they were expelled because it is"against" the law the teach Christ is schools. If it is ever outlawed in America to be a Christian and if I would be imprisoned or persecuted in some way, I pray that I would stand firm for Christ, because I answer to Him, when the government goes against His will. He is first in my life.

No, that would be unconstitutional, according to the First Amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Christians have an 80% majority in the United States. How could that possibly happen?

LMAO, yeah! With most of congress, the president and the supreme court being Christian. With all the christian universities, book stores, rock concerts, tv channels, you name it....having them be illegal is JUST around the corner :)

FAR more likely that it'll be illegal not to be one, though we do seem to have gotten the pendulum swinging back the right way in recent months.

It would take a long time,... but someday..., and America would no longer be a freedom country anymore.
