Ok my wedding color is "pool" which is a light greenish blue (it's in June), I need help looking for the right color roses! My table cloths are going to be white and a pool colored runner in the middle, I was thinking Bright orange with the dark bright pink, what do you think looks best?

This is a really colorful and contemporary combination. It could come off great. Different brides are comfortable with different levels of color and you don't have to go with pastels just because it's a wedding.

Many pool-side weddings are very colorful like that; so are destination weddings. A pale pink and ivory wedding could look totally washed out in a tropical environment.

Bottom line when dealing with a "fussy" color like pool/aqua/Tiffany blue is to try out your ideas ahead of time. Get a quick arrangement from the florist or do it yourself and see how it looks against your linens and bridemaid dresses.

Personally I love the Orange idea. I am trying to get my finance to enjoy the color orange as much as I do and in fact, I am going to lobby for orange flowers at our wedding! After all, it will be before labor day and technically, september is still "summer weather" in CA. Orange is the greatest color - so full of energy and vibrant! It is a sure pick me up to any other color you choose and can compliment most! Think about it - orange and blue - orange and brown - orange and green - orange and yellow - THEY ALL WORK! It is a beautiful color and one of the newest fashion colors out there. Go for it!

I think dark or light pink would look really well with the pool color. I wore a turquoise dress to prom and had pink roses in my corsage and it looked really good. Good luck!! :)

OOOOh Pretty! I think your idea is great. Go bright! I think the orange/pink combo would really set off all of the colors. Also think metallic...maybe silver added somewhere..who knows..but I think that looks great already!

Stay pastel, like your dresses, and go the opposite side of the color wheel from your shade - I would say go to the home depot and stick a swatch under that color match thing and go from there. Good luck!!

I would say white flowers. It would be SO elegant and they wouldnt fade into the background since you're going to have a runner on the table.

So you're going to use tropical colors? I would stick with pink and not do orange.

Wow-that's a lot of color. You're a brave girl. I would suggest putting some swatches of those colors together and see how you like them.

Congratulations
