Went to Prague last year (highly reccomend) and had pork, cabbage and dumplings. Found excellent recipies for pork and cabbage but not the dumplings. The ones i have found usually have vague measurements.
I would appreciate any recipies in pounds/ounces or metric, nothing vague please like "cup" etc.
Thanks in advance

No offence intended - i'm the one who is at fault, i am only used to pounds, ounces etc.
Never thought i could give offence in recipe page!

Good Dumplings:

175g/6oz self-raising flour
75g/3oz shredded suet
1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
good pinch salt and pepper
water, to mix

Sieve the flour into a bowl and add the suet, parsley, salt and pepper. Next add enough water to make a soft but not sticky dough, about 3 tbsp. Lightly flour your hands and roll the dough into eight small balls. Add to the stew and cook for a further 15-20 minutes.
