Early in pregnancy it's normal to experience mild cramps. If you are not sure take a hpt and schedule a doc's appt. to be sure. Either way you need to see what's causing the pain.

There are several things that can cause sharp pain in the abdomen. It is normal when the egg implants to have pain. It is also normal to have round ligament pain in the sides of your lower belly (although this normally happens after the 6th week of pregnancy, when your uterus starts to grow in size). It could also be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy (where the egg is fertelized, but implants in the falopian tube). This can be deadly, for mother and baby so if you are in fact late, you should see a physcian immediately.

My best advice is to go to the doctor. He'll tell you if you are pregnant or not and what that pain is. Maybe is a cyst. that hurts like hell(at least for me). Get Checked.
Good Luck!

You need to go to the dr. to find out if you are preg. or if you caught something. Pains can be a sign of preg. but usally that comes a little later with your body is stretching and adjusting

Take a pregnancy test. You can have all kinds of different pains. No two women are exactly alike.

Probably not. I'd go to the doc and have them check it out.
