Why do student tuition overpayment checks go to the student even if the parent took out the loan?

PLUS loans go to the parent unless they specify it to go to the student. Otherwise it goes to YOU because YOU are enrolled in college, not them. :)

They are suppose to go to the parent. There might be a problem with you loan account. Would contact them for information.
