En Guatemala, por ejemplo, la ropa cambia o varia de un pueblo a otro. El traje que lleva una senora de Santiago de Atitlan no es el mismo traje que lleva una senora de Chichicastenango. La india de Guatemala no lleva sombrero. Pero la india del Peru,si. Ella lleva sombrero. Thank you so much! you don't even have to translate all of it, just some of it. But if you translate all of it, i'll give you the best answer.

The native/indigent clothing

The clothing worn by the native or indigent population of Latin America is very interesting and beautiful. In Guatemala, for example, the clothing changes or varies from one village to another. The outfit worn by a woman from Santiago de Atitlan is not the same outfit worn by a woman from Chichicastenango. The native women of Guatemala don't wear hats. But the native woman of Peru, yes. She does wear a hat. The native of the famous village of Otavalo in Ecuador wears two skirts of dark wool with a very bright blouse. The men from Octavalo wear white pants, a white shirt, and a blue poncho/shawl.

As you can see from the above, online translators are NOT the best. This is a real translation, not a machine.

Note: I changed the word "Indian" to "native" here to help you with the context. The spanish word is india/indio to mean a native or indigent person.

PS: I speak Portuguese, that is very similar to Spanish. So, I found it almost as easy to understand as Portuguese.

The answer given by mitch8281 in principle is right, EXCEPT for the word indigent as it has nothing to do with the indian people.
(indigent is a very poor person that has to beg in order to survive)

The word should be "indigenous".

At the end the word is blue poncho not shawl.
