My gifts tend to be old fashioned. What are some things that modern teens enjoy?

Sometimes modern teens enjoy to spend time with their moms, sometimes they like to be left alone, who knows...It also depends on your budget, but a nice trip abroad might be fine as well as a good CD.

Ask your daughters friends.They will have an idea of what she likes and what is hip. Or take a day off and go window shopping with your daughter to get some ideas. I always give kids gift cards from the mall . You can get cards that can be used in any stores in the mall. A manicure and pedicure for her and a friend is good.

The best thing you could get is a gift card to a music store or a season of her favorite show on dvd.

If you have alot of money I would suggest a car! But for the average person maby some nice clothes or some jewlery or even a gift certificate or cash.

I'm not a teen, but I would say gift cards, that way she can pick out whatever she wants. Does she have a cell phone? If it's prepaid, you could buy her some minutes, or accessories.

A very nice watch
Various shopping cards or one of those Visa gift cards so that she can go shopping for clothes at the mall with her friends.

When I'm confused on what to get someone for their birthday. I get them a gift card from their favorite store. This way they can get what they want.

buy her something for her car if you bought her one,or give her a gift card at a teen clothing store to choose her own cool way to express herself

salon gift card, spa gift card, gas gift card, invite her friends to a hotel party that has a pool. a MALL gift card. a years worth of car insurance paid for by you.
