Get a Lawyer, you have a legal right to see your son without any stipulations on her part.

Let me put this too you simple and straight. Your son's mom is going to want you to be there for your son either 100% of the time or 0% of the time. There is no sometimes. I know a lot of single moms (I am not one of them) and this is pretty much how they feel. Appologize, even if you think you didn't do anything wrong, and be there for your kid at least at important times. Holidays, birthdays, first day of school, etc.... You will kick yourself in the butt later in life if you screw up the relationship with your kid now. Good luck!

Get a lawyer and get a Parenting Plan in place. Be prepared to pay child support and such.
Also, do research and go into court knowing what days/hours you want.
Are you going to claim your child (taxes) every other year?
Will you help pay for extracurricular activities?
Who carries health insurance?
How are you going to split holidays?
Will you get your child on school vacation?
A few weeks in the summer for vacation?

It seems to me that you will have to ask for legal help (attorney) if you don't consider marriage with boy's mother (if she expected you to spend holidays together she might be hoping for a relation)

Try to talk to her. Work out some sort of agreement. She is probably really hurt right now. If all else fails. Get a lawyer.
