Ok i know that just about everyone has asked this question in one way or another but there is a story behind so please listen to story and then give me any ideas you have and will be much appreciated.
My Fiance and I have had a pretty hard 3 years together. To start off we had to split ways due too work and what not. During that time we didnt talk much....we did have other relationships and sorta moved on. We rekindled what we had and we are so much in love. There is a lot more to the story but you get the gist of it. We have celebrated every holiday together except Valentines Day and we are considering 2007 our lucky year because we are to be married on June 22nd. What could we do on Valentines Day and what kind of a gift should I give him. He already has a ring and what not so doesnt need another one. Something really special. Please be serious.

I have a similar story and like you wanted something really special. I'll tell you what I'm debating and then maybe something will sound good to you. A photo album of just you two starting from day one of your lives together and it can build as your lives together do. Have a CD made of all your favorite songs that bring back beautiful memories you had together. Buy him a star http://www.starregistry.com/ or http://www.starnamer.org/. Get him a Love coupon book (available at any bookstore) or http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b/105-8736042-8653255?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=love+coupon&Go.x=14&Go.y=6.
Or, if you want to get really crazy, try this one.... http://www.amazon.com/Strip-Chocolate-Game-Perfect-Romance/dp/B000F2USUA/sr=8-2/qid=1169672090/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/105-8736042-8653255?ie=UTF8&s=gourmet-food.

Hope that helps..

Thigs are things that will be worn out and forgotten, but memories last forever.

There are several suggestions that I have for you.

-What about having a professional picture taken of the both of you (it could double up as your engagement picture)

Things can be very expensive and restaurants and all are always booked during that weekend. Instead of the obvious dinner-movie-roses-teddy-bear-card-useless gift cliche, try DOING soming together.

Since you have never celebrated VD ttogether, try doing something that you have never done before, even if is corny or funny, it will enhance the expetrience.

What about rock climbing? Picnic in the park? Karaoke? Bowling?

You can also make a "themed" dinner at home: "hawaian", "latino" etc. You can dress up and decorate your place acordingly, put some music on the background related to your theme and dance.

If you reallu have your heart set on a "gift", then find something useful. Electronics (an mp3 player, a cellphone upgrade, bluethooth for the cell etc.), tools and NFL gear always work. A swiss knofe is always a hit (they have now the ones witha memory stick) Do not give him clothes, socks, hankies or teddy bears. Men do not like that.

Congrats and good luck

Why not give him a statue of Taj Mahal or if you have the time and money you can even plan a visit to the monument, after all it is a tribute to one of the most successful love stories.
You can take him to Paris or Venice, both of them are known as lover's paradise.
You can give him a heart-shaped locket or one which has your photo or both your photos.
You can even make him a collage of all the good times you have had together.
Hope atleast one of the ideas click for you.
BEST of LUCK, not only for the 14th of Feb, but for the 22nd of June and your future life.

I would find a little Chalet somewhere that has a waterfall jacuzzi tub and get some candles and wine and some music and go away and bathe in each other for the weekend ..... pamper each other -- give body massages and explore each other and relax and enjoy.

Spending time together is always special.
Why not go away for the weekend to a Spa Bed & Breakfast. Maybe to one that offers skiing.
Nothing like being relaxed, well-feed and feeling fine with the one you love.
A card expressing your love.

Does he smoke cigars or cigarettes?

I would get him a really nice cuban cigar, and a zippo lighter. On the lighter have engraved on one side his name.. and on the other, a proverb, or a phrase.. or a line from a song.. about love. If you can, in Latin.. it'll make it unique.. and only the two of you will understand unless he wants to tell someone what it means.
