I don't think so. My boyfriend always gives me something for valentines day but i never give him anything. I think it is a hoilday to for girls, i think it is another day for guys to show us how much we really mean to them, with out them getting picked on by them mates for turning into a pu$$y.

valentines day is only for the benefit of the shops :P bt its always nice to have a day dedicated to love isnt it? if u dont feel it then dont .. but i think its really nice to do something for ur bf if u love him... just a reminder that u love him and u care about him.. of coruse it all depends on how u feel... its ur choice.. :P

unfortunately society has made all holidays and special occasions, "commercial" I personally think that spending time with that person, maybe dinner, ****dessert*****, hanging out, wine, movie, etc etc. I think that special occasions are for being together, not for gifts. I think you are supposed to celebrate each other, not seeing what present you will get or give.

No not really you can but you dont have to. If yu want get him something small like a card or something like that and if he dont get you something still give it to him so he can feel bad.
