Regarding Smythe's off-topic answer, I did not "slam" anyone, nor did I know of her daughter's age. I am not omniscient. My crime was proving her daughter wrong.

well of course it will. Think about it. If you were fighting the enemy and found out that their legislative body was constantly bickering over whether or not to fight or even leave completely, wouldn't you think that would embolden you to continue the war and increase the pressure? The government secrets leak like a sieve and the nations newspapers are more then happy to divulge all the information for all to see and everyone is scared to death to challenge the power of the press. Where does it all end? I shudder to even hazard a guess.

A resolution is nothing more thatn the Dem's way of saying Bad George BAD. It hold no water for anything in the future, it is just an agreement that the president stepped on political toes.

Of course.

Just as the Democratic victory in the November elections was applauded by Al Quaeda.

The enemy remembers the 'good old days' when a Democratic administration would only conduct showy but ineffectual cruise missile attacks.

Oh yes, these folks are media savvy, you will always see an up tick in violence around political events , elections, state of the union and this vote. The enemy realizes our politicians and public is driven by polls and media, So as the Democrats beat a constant drum of doom and gloom and it has a sound bite effect, they will increase there attacks.

I doubt it. They are a lot smarter about American ways then most Americans. It is just rhetoric. The funding will continue, per Pelosi, the troops will go, Per Pelosi, CLinton, Obama. The Presidents efforts will be supported per Pelosi, Clinton, Obama. It was just hot air trying to convince knee jerk liberals that the Majority are actually doing something.

Definitely. They want to help out the Dems trying to defeat Bush just as they are. They will make some calculated moves to give the Democrats good propaganda material.

simple answer - Yes. and that is their purpose. They want to lose. lose lose lose lose
libs love to lose, it gives them that same warm and fuzzy feeling they get when they watch robbie redford's sundance movies about horse-humpin and 12 year olds getting raped (was that bill clinton in that scene??)

Actually, bubba was in both flicks, from what I've been told.
