If your name is on the birth certificate you can petition the court for visitation rights...but keep in mind this also comes with responsibility. You will have to step up and pay child support on a regular basis.

If you really want to see him, you need to go to court to get a visitaton order. That's really all you can do.

PS You don't have to be on the birth certificate to ask the court for this. They may require you to prove paternity.

Hang in there. If you want to be a part of his life, help take care of him, help raise him and help provide the money all of this takes do what ever it takes. Even going to court.

Sounds like a touchy situation. You may have to get a lawyer so you can get parental rights. Good luck!
