just because you have come out of the closet does not mean that your family should treat you any different...and you really should not push your family away...trust me when my family found out about me...it was a little wierd...but now everything is fine...keep in touch with your family...and if you want someone to talk to then...you can e-mail me...trust...everything will work out...don't give up on it.your kids need to know their family...and you need to hold on to your family.

i would love to hear from you.

Yes I think you should keep trying. Family is the most important thing. Im guessing you have only recently told them as you have a 7 month old daughter. Maybe they just need some more time. Just hang in there and I hope your familt comes around and accepts you for you. Its not fair that you or your children should miss out on a loving family just because of something you have no control over!!!!

I don't think there's anything wrong with sending photos of your children to your relatives despite your having a strained relationship with them. Put your return address on the envelope, maybe enclose a short note keeping them up to date on your children's lives, and let them make the decision to respond or not. They are still your children's family and if that relationship falls apart it won't be for your lack of trying.

No, don't ignore them even if they seem to be ignoring you. They will come around in time. Be patient. Just continue being the person you always have been.

Keep trying and maybe they will get over it, but if not, that is ok. Just move on and find people that will love and accept you. And kudos for being who you really are. :)

try and work it out..in these situations, the adults always end up acting like the children.
