How do you know when you go from loving her to actually being in love with her? Or can you just go straight to falling in love?

You love her when you don't want anything bad to happen to her, etc. You are IN love with her when you can't picture your life without her and always want to be near her!

being in love with someone you get that rush whenever they are with you, that can't live without you love. loving your girlfriend is caring deeply about them, but without the intense rush of feelings...
its very hard to describe, but i hope that helps a bit

as for going straight to falling in love, maybe its just me but its infatuation, until you really know that person day in and day out for a period of time.

You know once you've stopped impressing her, can be completely honest with her, and have no problems doing things that you at least think that you know to be in her best interests. You'll know once you're no longer infatuated with her and aren't thinking about her all the time, yet still want to be around her and still care about her. You'll know once you can let her be away from you and you can trust her, even around her single friends that aren't up to any good, yet can still appreciate the little bit of time you are around her. When it isn't so emotional, yet it can consume you when it is, that's when you'll know.

that is a good question.....u can love someone and not actaully be in love. I dont think I have ever actaully been in love with someone. I love the person I am with but I dont think I am in love with him. I dont know what that would feel like but I bet it is a great feeling. I hope to experience one day.

ok so true love is a lasting honest unselfishness for the other person, not fireworks. being "in love" i think is just the feeling you have romanticly for that person.
