I can not believe that you would have watched it drowned like that so I am going to believe that this is just a question rather then an observation. Only some cats can swim just like humans

Is the CAT unusual?? I think the question should be, what the heck is wrong with YOU?? I am a Veterinarian and I am appalled at your lack of sympathy over another living thing. But lets see YOU get tangled up in weeds n watch you thrash about and drown. I cannot believe you actually had the nerve to ask this question. And the award for Heartless, Idiotic, In-Humane Dork of the year goes tooooo: YOU!
And cats CAN swim as it comes natural to them. They swim much like a dog using the doggie paddle stroke.

Well first off CATS CAN SWIM!!!So can dogs but just like us they can't swim very well with obsticles in the way such as Weeds. Hello. How coould you sit their and watch an animal just drown to death and not even help. You should get thrown into a pool full of weeds and suffer. You should be ashamed and hope you don't go you know where on judgement day.

My cat fell in the fishing pond one day and I thought she was going to drown. She just kept paddling around in circles till I thought I was going to have to fish for her but she finally got close enough to the edge that I could reach her and get her out of the water. So yeah they can swim a little. That would be mean if you actually did watch and let a cat drown for your own amusement.

I know some cats can swim but I find it hard to believe you just stood there and watched a cat drown. Are you making this up or do you have a reason why you'd be so cruel?

Why would you let him die? Cats cannot swim. Most cats are afraid of water, but my cat likes running water and to drink out of the facuet.
