Wash chicken pieces, then put flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt into a plastic bag; add chicken pieces one at a time and shake each piece until it is well coated with the flour mixture. Put the chicken in a baking dish that has been sprayed with a non-stick spray. Bake the chicken in a 350 degree oven until chicken is thoroughly cooked. You can turn the chicken while cooking and this will make it nice and crispy. You can also brush on your favorite bar-b-que sauce during the last half of the cooking process. Enjoy!

Melt a stick of butter in the bottom of a cake pan. Roll your chicken good in flour, garlic salt and pepper and place in pan. Bake in 375 oven for 20 minutes and then flip the chicken over and bake fo another 20 minutes.
Nice and crispy and good!!!!

I'm always paranoid about the crust getting done before the meat gets done.
What I do is this...boil the chicken first, until it's about 1/2 cooked.
Then dip in egg, roll in crumbs, and pan fry in about an inch of oil until it's done.

i agree with margaret. also, i found a lot of times the chicken will be much more moist and juicy if you use bone-in chicken breast(if youre doing breast)
for a crunchy chicken, get some unflavored cornflakes, crush em up real good and coat the chicken with that
