hey my birthday is the 18th. I don't know about the orange... maybe very sparingly. but what about blue or lavender? I think the yellow and orange will make it too deserty (unless that's what you were going for). congrats.

They sound fine. I like yellow, rather than orange as an accent, but that's mainly because I'm not a fan of orange. Don't listen to the first guy. Sage is a manly color. Make sure he doesn't get stuck wearing the yellow. But you should ask him to make sure that he's cool with the colors.

I think what is important is if you like those colors. Sage is a very nice color and depending on the shade of orange or yellow, they can both look nice. When my sister in law picked out fushia for her wedding, I was concerned with the dress I would have to wear, but she trusted her judgement and I LOVED the dress. Go with your instincts, and I'm sure the wedding will be lovely.

I was in one of my best friend's weddings and we wore sage green dresses with orange flowers. It sounded weird when she told us, but it ended up being beautiful. I'm sure yellow would be fine, too, since those colors are related to yellow. Good luck, congrats!

That sounds beautiful. In my best friend's wedding two years ago in May we wore leaf green dresses and had bright orange tulips. All the accents were orange. It was a powerful combination, perfect for a late spring/early summer wedding. Go for it!

To me those colors seem like a very ethnic combination, with an Indian or Moroccan flair, especially if you go heavy on the orange. Ethnic-inspired weddings aren't only gorgeous, they are VERY hot and fashionable right now. You could expand on this look with silk fringe and table runners, copper metal accents, an ethnic-tinged menu and lots of textured pillows.
here's a little inspiration:

I would take out the yellow, maybe just sage and a light blue or a light rose color, reminiscent of spring colors.

They sound nice together, but you may want to see what your future husband wants. He may have a different opinion.
