Well said. It isn't any different. The Christians just can't see it.

You must not have liked being a monkey. How was it have a tail. It must have been fun swing from tree to tree. Psalms 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalms 19: 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

HA! We are not being used! For one thing, God is my father, he Created me into being. I owe HIM just for that. Then, on top of that, because man messed up, he sacrificed the one who he loved the most because he REALLY REALLY wants us to be able to come and celebrate with him in heaven.
We arent slaves, we have free will to do whatever we want. We CHOOSE to follow God because we are aware of the wonderful things he has done for us. .
Wouldnt a father on earth request a child to love him and obey him as well? Until he is 18, that child is being raised and shown the right ways to live.
We are being raised right now, to understand who God is and what a special gift life is. Then, we mature, and we are able to live with God in heaven, because we understand.

i'm quite content that God knows what's best for us. After all, He did create us. You have no concept of the love relationship He wants with His creation. He wants freedom for us. It is the unbeliever who is the slave.

why would anyone be happy to serve in slavery? who wants to be raped, tortured, beat sold and bought at will? your rational explanation of a slave is wrong. the bible states a slave as a willingful servant of god. furthermore, anyone that has kept me out of harms way, helped me escape death, blessed me with success, given me health as well as my family, i would be more than happy to be a slave to him. Proudly....

interior the old days, nipples have been used to shoot lasers on the demons that filled the lands. adult males could circulate out, topless and do conflict with their laser taking photos breasts till the nipples have been soft and that they could rub goats milk on each and every others breasts till they have been sturdy sufficient to do conflict back. It replaced right into a marvelous, gay, demon slaying, laser taking photos time accompanied via a potluck dinner of roasted demon meat ! i think of that's in Genesis someplace.

Phil 2:4-8
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The Bible clearly teaches that Christians are to be slaves (aka. servants) to God. We are to conform to His will. That isn't the attractive Gospel you will always hear but it is the truth.
I want God to use me for his purposes.
